400 acres The Nature Conservancy added in the southwest corner of town, bordering Coles Brook and contiguous with the Conservancy's other holdings there. Ponds, streams, and shrub wetlands sit inside a mostly intact forest that the Conservancy has called one of the last large-scale forest-and-water conservation opportunities left in southern New England. Old, unmaintained woods roads cross the property.
