Passanageset Park at Broad Meadows Marsh is a 58-acre salt marsh and upland meadow preserve in Adams Shore, restored between 2010 and 2013 by the City of Quincy and the Army Corps of Engineers after decades of tidal restriction. It reopened in 2015 with 1.3 miles of flat, easy gravel loop trails and has become a strong birdwatching spot, with more than 150 species recorded since.

How long and hard is the trail?
The full loop is about 1.3 miles of flat, easy gravel path, roughly a 20-25 minute walk, through upland meadow and along the marsh and river edge.
Wide gravel, not paved and not rugged single-track, so it works fine in regular sneakers and most strollers.
Use either the Quincy Youth Arena lot at 60 Murphy Memorial Drive or the Broad Meadows Middle School lot at 50 Calvin Road; both have a pedestrian entrance into the park.
