Moswetuset Hummock is a small wooded knoll on Quincy Bay that was a summer campsite for the Massachusett tribe in the 1600s and gave the tribe, and the state, its name. A quarter-mile gravel loop circles the hummock through oak woods and mossy outcrops with marsh and bay views.
