A 10,000-plus acre state forest of wooded ridges, waterfalls and four ponds straddling Savoy and neighboring Florida. Savoy's side is reached from a scatter of trailheads off Central Shaft Road, Tannery Road and the Mohawk Trail corridor rather than one main gate, and most day visitors are headed for a hike, Tannery Falls, or one of the ponds inside it.
