A sprawling, roughly 4,800 to 5,000-acre wildlife management area of irregular-shaped parcels straddling Peru and Windsor. No maintained trails, just forest roads, open fields kept for pheasant and other ground-nesting birds, and small brooks; visitors are on their own to navigate once past the parking areas.
