The Becket portion of the Conte Refuge is the Westfield River Division, a 125-acre tract on Benton Hill Road purchased in 2013. It protects over 1,000 feet of riverbank along the West Branch of the Westfield River, important habitat for shad and American eel, mixed with hemlock stands and vernal pools.
