A former 1860s-1940s granite quarry with dramatic 75-foot cliffs and a 55-foot guy derrick, developed by the Becket Land Trust into a 280-acre preserve with 7 miles of trails before transferring to The Trustees of Reservations in 2021. The Trustees closed the property and its parking area indefinitely in mid-2025 after a drowning, and as of mid-2026 there is no announced reopening date.
