A playground at the Town Beach at Silver Lake built in 2015 by the nonprofit Where Angels Play Foundation, dedicated to Sean Collier, a Wilmington native and MIT police officer killed during the Boston Marathon bombing manhunt.

Dogs
Wilmington requires dogs to be on a leash no longer than six feet in any public area of town unless the area is officially designated as a dog park or dog exercise area. Posted signs at the site take precedence.
Hours
The Town Beach at Silver Lake has lifeguards on duty daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the beach season, which runs roughly from mid-June through mid-August. That's the town default unless posted otherwise.
