Veterans Memorial Park is a one-block downtown park bordered by Dwight, Chestnut, Hampden, and Maple Streets, built around an 1876 Soldiers Monument and later memorials to World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. The city holds its Memorial Day ceremony here.
