Walsh Playground in Lower Mills is a 6.95-acre park rebuilt for $4 million with a new playground and splash pad, a full and half basketball court, tennis court, multi-purpose fields, a competition softball field, and a walking path, named for Medal of Honor Marine William Gary Walsh, killed on Iwo Jima in 1945.
