South Amherst Common

A grassy, tree-dotted village green at the historic center of South Amherst, nicknamed Fiddlers Green, formed where South East Street, Shays Street and Station Road meet. It sits inside a National Register historic district of 19th-century houses, a church and the town library, and reads as a quiet residential common rather than an active recreation park.
