Common questions

Where do I park, and is it obvious?
There are two informal options: a small lot off West Road that's easy to miss because of dense roadside vegetation, or parallel parking for a couple of cars at a signed trailhead off Montgomery Road.
Are the trails paved or rugged?
Rugged. Wyben Woods was deliberately left without a built trail system, so paths through the forest and wetland are natural and unmarked.
Is there an entry fee at Wyben Woods?
No, entry is free.
Can I bring my dog to Wyben Woods?
Westfield requires any animal in a city park or playground to be on a leash no more than six feet long, and owners must clean up after their pet. Posted signs at the site take precedence.
Is Wyben Woods wheelchair accessible?
Not developed for accessibility; informal, unpaved parking and natural terrain.
What rules should I know at Wyben Woods?
No dumping, hunting, trapping, off-road vehicles, alcohol, camping, vegetation destruction, fires, mountain biking, or horseback riding.
