Fowler-Eames Wildlife Sanctuary

Details unconfirmedPreserve · Washington, MA
Right now

A 34-acre sanctuary of mature cherry, ash, beech, maple, and pine forest wrapped around a spring called Cold Spring and a small stream. Mark Fowler donated the land in 2000 with deed restrictions that keep it lightly touched: selective forestry only, the spring left undisturbed, and just one unpaved foot trail allowed.
