A 15-acre Sterling Land Trust woodland and beaver pond off Hardscrabble Road, gifted in 2010 by Shawn Morris and Lennie Paquette in memory of their parents, with an additional gift in 2018. It provides access to a stretch of Hardscrabble Road itself, said to be one of the last undeveloped colonial-era two-rod roads in town.

Hardscrabble Road itself can be hiked north to North Row Road, with further connections toward the Heywood Reservoir trail network.
