A short, easy loop trail on a 13-plus acre town-owned parcel behind the Butterick Municipal Building on Park Street, donated to Sterling around 1924 by Mary Ellen Butterick, daughter of the dress-pattern inventor Ebenezer Butterick, on the condition the land stay green space. A side trail visits the well-preserved colonial-era Town Pound.
