Wet Meadows

Details unconfirmedPreserve · Newburyport, MA
Right now

A flat, wet grassland held by Essex County Greenbelt with the City of Newburyport, the Trust for Public Land and the Parker River Clean Water Association. Centuries of grazing kept it open, and it now draws spring shorebirds and nesting killdeer. Greenbelt's viewing platform for the meadows is off Scotland Road on the Newbury side, not here.
