Nahant Thicket is one of Mass Audubon's smallest sanctuaries, four acres of red maple swamp and brushy tangle tucked off Furbush Road. A quarter-mile loop trail is the whole visit, but it's a magnet for migrating warblers, vireos, and thrushes each spring and fall.
