A 469-acre US Army Corps of Engineers flood-control property built in the 1960s around a dam on Conant Brook, with about five miles of trails, a gazebo, and streamside trout water alongside a warmwater fishing pool above the dam. It draws hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and anglers rather than the summit-seekers who head to Peaked Mountain.
