An 86-acre Orenda Land Trust woodland of continuous pitch pine and oak, once cut as a fuel woodlot for a West Barnstable brickworks and later donated by the family of cranberry grower Makepeace, known as the "Cranberry King." It borders Mercy Lowe and has no drive-up parking of its own, reached instead by a walk-in trail.
