A 239-acre, town-owned forest in Marion's far north, managed by The Trustees of Reservations as part of the larger East Over/Sippican River reserve that continues into Rochester. Marion's portion has about 2.5 miles of trail through pine and oak uplands, wetlands, and cranberry bogs.

What to expect

Trails
About 2.5 miles of forest trail with a rock outcropping, an elevated boardwalk over sensitive wetlands, and a stone-slab bridge on the northern loop.
Dogs
Dogs must be under restraint at all times (leashed, at heel and obedient to command, confined to the owner's property, or in a vehicle) under the townwide Animal Control bylaw. There is no townwide seasonal dog ban on non-beach town land.
Hours
Dawn to dusk. Marion has no single codified park-curfew ordinance we could locate, but "dawn to dusk" is the hours posted at nearly every Marion-owned park, landing, and conservation property.
