A 239-acre, town-owned forest in Marion's far north, managed by The Trustees of Reservations as part of the larger East Over/Sippican River reserve that continues into Rochester. Marion's portion has about 2.5 miles of trail through pine and oak uplands, wetlands, and cranberry bogs.

Dogs
Dogs must be under restraint at all times (leashed, at heel and obedient to command, confined to the owner's property, or in a vehicle) under the townwide Animal Control bylaw. There is no townwide seasonal dog ban on non-beach town land.

Where do I park for East Over in Marion?
Use the County Road trailhead: from I-195 exit 20 take Route 105 North about 0.3 miles, turn right on County Road, and look for the free lot on the left just before 285 County Road.
