A 47-acre conservation area near the Ware Street/Branch Street corner, acquired by the town in 1974 from Dorothy and Stanley York. The Canoe River runs through it, and a well-marked, easy 1.5-mile trail loop crosses an underground gas-line swath before climbing to a plateau above the river.
