A 4,246-acre DCR forest spanning Leominster, Fitchburg, Princeton, Sterling, and Westminster, built up starting in 1922 with Civilian Conservation Corps-era infrastructure. Crow Hill Pond has a supervised swimming beach, bathhouse, and picnic areas, while Paradise Pond allows non-motorized boating; an extensive trail network supports hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and rock climbing on the Crow Hills cliffs.

Yes, there is a supervised swimming beach open Memorial Day through Labor Day, 9am to 6pm, with DCR lifeguards on duty from mid-June to Labor Day.
