A 7,400-acre working forest spanning Hawley, Plainfield, and Savoy, laced with 35 miles of multi-use woods roads plus a one-mile interpretive loop around Hallockville Pond. Remnants of the vanished South Hawley village, including a beehive-shaped stone charcoal kiln, sit along its trails.
