North Hill Marsh is a 145-acre sanctuary of oak-pine woods and wetlands around a 90-acre pond, with about 5 miles of marked trails that circle the water and continue into the adjoining Knapp Town Forest. It is co-managed with Mass Audubon but, unusually for their sanctuaries, allows dog walking.
