A Sheriff's Meadow Foundation sanctuary on a glacial terminal moraine, with steep ridges and valleys left by ice roughly 18,000 years ago. The yellow trail climbs to views of Chilmark Great Pond, Black Point Pond, and Tisbury Great Pond, and the terrain is genuinely strenuous in places.
