The Meetinghouse Road Trail crosses new-growth pine, open meadow and native hardwoods, following part of an old cart path used by 18th-century settlers traveling to church. It sits within the 153-acre Mothers Bog Aquifer Protection Area, a joint project of the Town of Brewster, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Dennis Water District and the Brewster Conservation Trust.
