A small ornamental pond in the middle of Medfield's town center, created by a dam built on Vine Brook in 1724 to power a fulling mill and later purchased by the town in 1924. It functions mainly as a wildlife-habitat and aesthetic feature rather than a recreation destination, with an aeration system added in 2008 to maintain oxygen levels.
