Arlington Reservoir, known locally as 'the Res,' is a filtered, chlorinated man-made swimming pond on the Arlington-Lexington line with a sand beach, bathhouse and lifeguards each summer, plus a surrounding trail loop and a kayak launch past the vehicle gate.
