A 28.5-acre conservation area on both sides of Ashby State Road, about 1,000 feet north of the John Fitch Highway and Route 31 intersection. The pond itself covers roughly 14 acres and was originally built for harvesting ice. The city lists fishing, walking, bird watching and picnicking, and a trail that goes around about two thirds of the pond.
