Can I just show up for the day?
No, day-use visitors must call or text the camp manager the morning of their visit (no calls before 8:30 AM) to confirm availability and get the gate combination.
Day-use visitors cannot bring pets; overnight campers may bring up to two leashed, vaccinated dogs kept away from the swim area and docks.

What rules should I know at AMC Ponkapoag Camp?
People under 18 shall not swim alone; children under 13 need adult supervision. Pets prohibited for day-use visitors; campers may bring up to two leashed pets with proof of rabies vaccination, kept out of swim areas, docks, and the lodge. No shampoo or soap in the pond.
