Mill Pond sits on the Harwich-Brewster line east of Long Pond's eastern end. Both the Harwich Conservation Trust and Brewster Conservation Trust have purchased land here to protect water quality and keep fishing access open; it is part of the Pleasant Bay Area of Critical Environmental Concern watershed.
