Buehler Ponds is a 10.5-acre conservation area west of the narrow-gauge rail trail, just north of Job Lane School, built around two small ponds held back by a berm. The town assembled it through three separate transactions beginning in 1978, and the ponds were an informal swimming destination through the 1960s when they were part of the Buehler family estate.
