An 80-acre, 17-foot-deep lake created in 1872, ringed on its east and north shores by undeveloped conservation land (Battis Farm, Powow Hill). The developed swim beach on the south shore is its own separate record; the rest of the shoreline is reached by trail or car-top boat.
