A small library-yard playground behind the Wendell Free Library, rebuilt piece by piece after an ash-borer-killed tree forced the town to remove the old wooden play structure in 2023. The original towers are being reused with new features such as monkey bars and a rope crossing, funded by the Friends of the Wendell Free Library rather than the town budget.
