Gabriel P. Costa Park is the main neighbourhood open space in the Shirley Avenue neighbourhood. A 2013 community build with Kaboom!, JetBlue and The Neighborhood Developers put in a new playground; the city lists picnic tables, benches, swings and playground equipment.
