This town-center park surrounds Memorial Pond and was originally laid out by John Nolen for Walpole's 1924 bicentennial as a civic center, playground, and park. It includes Blackburn Memorial Hall, a 1926 pool and bathhouse, and Memorial Bridge, and the town has recently removed invasive aquatic vegetation from the pond.
