Anawan Rock Historic Park

Details unconfirmedPark · Rehoboth, MA
Right now

A short footpath off Route 44 leads to a large conglomerate outcrop where the Wampanoag leader Anawan surrendered to Captain Benjamin Church in August 1676, effectively ending King Philip's War. The loop around the rock takes only a few minutes and there is little developed here beyond the historical marker and path.
