A 1919 city-owned ballpark with one of the last wooden grandstands in the country, home to the summer-collegiate Pittsfield Suns. The grandstand itself was voted for demolition in 2025 as structurally unsound, though the field, basketball court, and surrounding grounds remain in public use.

Is the historic grandstand still standing?
No. The Pittsfield Parks Commission voted in July 2025 to demolish the 1950 grandstand as unsafe to reuse; demolition was planned for fall 2025.
