Kent Way Land

An undeveloped, town-owned parcel off Kent Way in Byfield (Map-Lot U14-0-19A), separate from the municipal-office building at 12 Kent Way and its parking lot. The town's 2010 Open Space and Recreation Plan lists it at 6.0 acres (5.7 acres in the plan's narrative text), primary purpose recreation, condition rated "poor" as of a January 2008 assessor snapshot, with no facilities built. The plan describes it as awaiting funding to add two Little League/softball fields, parking, a possible restroom/concession structure, and a small basketball court or playground. Current (2026) development status was not independently reconfirmed.
