Anniversary Hill Park

Anniversary Hill Park is Holyoke's largest park, a forested tract built up by the WPA in the 1940s around a 55-foot stone lookout called Scott Tower. Interstate 91 later cut the park in two, and the city is now rebuilding trail access to the tower.

Holyoke has no municipal swimming beach and no parking-sticker or beach-pass program; public swimming is at the city-run Holyoke Municipal Pool. No parking sticker or permit required.

Holyoke requires dogs to be kept under restraint and not at large whenever off the owner's property, under Chapter 14 of the city ordinances. That's the town-wide default; watch for posted signs here.
Accessibility
An accessible trail corridor to Scott Tower, including a concrete ramp with railing onto the tower's viewing platform, is under construction as Phase 1 of a restoration project (not yet complete as of mid-2026).
