Dawson Recreation Area is Holden's main town-run recreation complex on Salisbury Street, with a seasonal outdoor pool, a turf baseball field, and tennis and basketball courts. A town project is underway to rebuild the playground and add fields on the adjoining Industrial Drive parcel.
