The Upper Common is a downtown green at Main, Mechanic, and Prospect Streets, with a gazebo, a water fountain, benches, and sculptures by Fitchburg native Herbert Adams. It hosts weekly concerts in summer and is the trailhead for the Rollstone Hill Rock Walk.
