A town-owned salt-marsh peninsula overlooking Essex Bay, occupied mostly by a century-old leased summer cottage colony (the Conomo Point Association). Public access is limited to a landing at the northwestern end of Conomo Point Road, opposite Cross Island, plus the separately-named Front Beach and Clammer's Beach nearby. The land was originally the town's 1825 Poor Farm/Alms House property.
