Piers Park is Massport's 1995 waterfront replacement for the Olmsted-designed Wood Island Park that Logan Airport's expansion destroyed in 1969, an 11-acre landscaped promenade on rebuilt piers with a fenced spray-pool playground, an amphitheater, and sweeping views back across the harbor to the Boston skyline.
