Kendrick Park is a small downtown green at the north end of Amherst center, built out from a 1930 family trust and opened as town parkland in 2004. Mature shade trees ring a 2021 playground that draws downtown families, though the park has gone years without a public restroom.

Not a permanent one as of early 2026. A single-occupancy, fully accessible Portland Loo restroom with a changing table was approved in December 2025 and was expected to go in that spring near the angled parking on North Pleasant Street.
