A roughly 320-acre town reservoir, the headwater of the Neponset River, ringed by about 90 acres of Town conservation land including the Lane Homestead on North Street. Visitors launch canoes and kayaks from Kersey Point or a newer ramp on Edwards Road, walk the Story Book and All Persons trails, and fish for pickerel, bass and other warmwater species, though eating what you catch is discouraged.
