Is this the same as Cape Cod National Seashore's Coast Guard Beach?
No - this is a separate, much smaller Town of Truro beach at the end of Coast Guard Road (17 parking spaces, sticker required, no lifeguard). The similarly-named National Seashore beach with lifeguards and paid parking is in Eastham, about 15 miles south.
Dogs are barred 9am-6pm in season town-wide, and as of July 2026 a shorebird-nesting closure currently bars pets from this beach entirely except one open section - call the Beach Office (508-487-6983) for the current boundary.
