Loon Pond is a 27-acre city-owned pond off Pasco Road near the Boston Road/Indian Orchard line, reopened in May 2024 after a renovation that added an accessible canoe and kayak launch, a small parking area, picnic spots, and shoreline trails. There is no operating swim beach; despite its name, the park is built and used for fishing, paddling, and picnicking, not swimming.
