A roughly two-mile, town-owned stretch of dune and sand that picks up where the DCR reservation ends and runs north to X Street, backed by beach roses, a dune fence, and a sea wall instead of a boardwalk. There's no lifeguard anywhere along it and almost no restrooms, so most people treat it as a quieter walk-and-swim stretch rather than a destination with amenities.
